Mr. Patrick Myers
High School Principal
Patrick Myers is the Principal of Chartiers Valley High School. Mr. Myers started his career with Chartiers Valley in September of 2000 as the School Psychologist for Chartiers Valley Middle and Intermediate Schools. He joined the administrative team in January of 2005 to lead our K-12 special education and gifted support services as the Coordinator of Special Programs.
Mr. Myers earned his principal’s certification from California University of Pennsylvania and was appointed Assistant Principal of Chartiers Valley Middle School in July of 2007. He led the Intermediate School as Principal from June of 2012 through June of 2017. Mr. Myers transitioned to Chartiers Valley High School in the summer of 2017 where he served as the Principal for Student Supports until his appointment as building principal in June of 2018.
Mr. Myers came to Chartiers Valley from Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 where he served as the K-12 School Psychologist for the Laurel School District. Mr. Myers began his professional career in Ohio as the K-12 School Psychologist for Wellston City Schools.
Mr. Tim Murray
High School Assistant Principal
Tim Murray joined the Chartiers Valley High School administrative team in 2018 as an Assistant Principal of the High School. Mr. Murray comes to Chartiers Valley after working as an educator in West Virginia for the past 15 years.
He began his career in 2003 as a Business Education teacher at Wirt County High School after receiving his undergraduate degree from Glenville State College. Mr. Murray earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Salem International University in 2009, and he served as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director of WCHS from 2013 to 2016.
Most recently, Mr. Murray worked as an Assistant Principal at Weir High School where his primary responsibilities were monitoring 9th and 10th grade academic achievement and serving as the building level Special Education Coordinator. Mr. Murray is proud to serve the Chartiers Valley students, staff and community!
Ms. Meghan Watelet
High School Assistant Principal
Ms. Watelet comes to Chartiers Valley after working as a special education teacher, general education teacher, and school counselor.
Ms. Watelet began her career in 2014 as an English learning support teacher at Franklin Regional Middle School and Knoch High School after receiving an undergraduate degree in English, Secondary Education 7-12 and Special Education 7-12 from Washington & Jefferson College. Ms. Watelet then transitioned to Canon-McMillan in 2015, where she was a high school English teacher, coached multiple sports, and sponsored yearbook and student council. Ms. Watelet earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Duquesne University and Principal’s Certification from the University of Pittsburgh.
Most recently, Ms. Watelet had been working as a school counselor at Butler Area School District where she counseled and actively facilitated school-wide initiatives to advocate on behalf of one thousand students as well as the staff and families of Butler county.
